When blending craft beer and activism, we create craftivism! This session is a celebration of Ontario craft breweries who tirelessly support vulnerable populations by taking social, environmental and political responsibility with innovative programming and incentives. Join special guest Ren Navarro of Beer Diversity along with representatives from forward-thinking breweries as they help you make the most informed decisions about the brews you choose to enjoy, and the effect your purchases have on the greater good of others. Be prepared to become a change-maker with your ideas!
We will be raffling off a generously donated hop pendant necklace from https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/prettypennie! Raffle tickets can be purchased with cash only at 1 for $5 or 5 for $20.
As an added feature to QoC this year, we are keeping the bar open after the session until 11pm for you to linger, dance, eat and hang out with your crew or your new friends. This session's afterparty theme is 90's hip hop and snacks! We will be selling any leftover beer from the session as well as our specialty QoC brew in order to increase our overall donation to Guelph Wellington Women-In-Crisis.
