Queen of Craft is excited to present a Holiday Season Beer-zaar, featuring a vendor marketplace, QOC discussions, workshops and more!

Queen of Craft is excited to present the first ever Holiday Season Beer-zaar! Happening December 1st at 10C from 10am-4pm, this multi-tiered event offers a variety of pleasures for the beer lover's soul. On the 4th floor, grab a sample from our tasting bar while you peruse the vendor's market featuring hand-made goods, artisan food products, and unique one of a kind items. On the 2nd floor library area, we will be presenting a schedule of educational sessions and fun samplings for those interested in learning about women in beer, the magic of seasonal beers/special ingredients, and a session where you can learn about the brewing process from some of our winners and participants throughout the years. And finally, we will offer workshops designed to clear your mind of the holiday jumble by doing beer yoga with Karyn Boscariol, reveal your inner Martha Stewart in an ornament crafting class with Hannah Senitt, or let the women from the Wooly pub help you create a holiday drink menu to wow your guests over the Christmas season.

Market entry $5 donation to Women in Crisis (available @ the door only the day of the event)

1 workshop or session (includes market entry, 1 hour workshop or session incl. 3 samples) $15

All in pass (access to all library sessions + market) $35

We will be accepting monetary as well as in-kind donations of the following to drop off at the crisis centre:

Bus tickets and gas cards

Phone cards

Personal care items for women, teen girls and boys, and children (toiletries must be full-sized, unexpired, unscented or mildly scented)

Baby diapers, wipes and lotion

Slippers and bathrobes

Journals and craft supplies

Pillows, white pillowcases and white twin sheet sets (MUST BE NEW)

Children and adult colouring books

Items for teens – ear headphones, gift cards for fast food, Cineplex, iTunes, etc.
